Not religiously or such like, but to writing in English here on the blog.
There are 3 reasons for this: The main reason is that I have a lot of family abroad, both in Greece and from both my grandparents sides in the US, who are taking an interest in my projects. Also I want the Greek XC-ski and winter sports community to gain insight in the Norwegian model for endurance training and our approaches to amplifying endurance sports performances. Thirdly, sports sciences and exercise physiology is a field of international interest and as I aim to create more evidence based content and share the day-to-day from my very evidence based work, here on the blog it only feels natural to convert to English. And I have a new theme! Do you like it? It still needs tweaking, so bear with me util I am back in Oslo and have time to work on the design details.
If you are not into reading English at the moment: Get on board! It is after all the language in which most of the new information in the world gets spread. So I hope you will continue to follow my blog, even if it will now have a more international vibe.
As I am writing this I am on a plane to Vienna for work and I am heading for ECSS, one of the largest and most prestigious sports science conferences in the world. I am so excited!
Connect with me on IG and Snapchat (melinamagulas) for updates from the conference and beautiful Vienna.
