Do you want to expand your horizon in the fields of health, nutrition, exercise and performance? What a silly question, of course you do!
Updating your knowledge in all the areas you might be interested in or feel you really should have known more about more about can no doubt be hard and challenging, because time may be limiting you and digging around in databases for research articles might not be something you are used to, or are all that good at.
I often find that the times I absorb the most information is not only when I am reading or researching by myself, but when I interact with my peers and people who because of their background are considered authorities in their field. I love listening to good speakers and share their hard earned knowledge, and I think this is why I come back bubbling with inspiration after having attended a congress, convention, course, workshop or seminar.
Simultane auditive and visual learning is the best so powerful! If your are into learning from authorities in their field, making new connections and possibly friends I think you should be at the AFPT Convention 2016 in Oslo, Norway!
What you listen to you learn for a period of time,
what you discuss with others you’ll remember for a longer time and
what you teach others you’ll really know and it will be imprinted in your brain for a lifetime.
I am truly humbled to be in such an insane line-up of speakers. We have Bret Contreras aka “The Glute Guy”, Alan Aragon , Nick Tumminello Brad Schoenfeld, Jacob Wilson, and Eric Helms to name only a few. That’s riiiight! I’ll be taking the stage to give you one of my best performances yet. My headline is “Training to amplify endurance performances”. I haven’t finished the talk yet, very rarely I meet trainers or other people who know how to transition their training into tapering (Norwegian: formtopping) and peak at the right time. I want to teach you the secrets of the trade, which have worked for all the clients I have made training and competition plans for!
Now, head on over to AFPT Convention’s website and get your tickets.
Come meet us, listen, discuss, evolve, get inspired, motivated and learn things that are really applicable to your own training or your clients, if you are working as a coach.
I’ll be speaking on the 26th of August and am really excited about it. Hope to see you there!
